New

"The Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces

But the LORD was not in the wind;

and after the wind an earthquake,

But the LORD was not in the earthquake;

and after the earthquake, a fire

But the LORD was not in the fire;

After the fire came a sound of Delicate Stillness,
A Still, Small Voice,
A Gentle Whisper."

-1 Kings 19:11-12

Rosh Hashanah , the Jewish new year 5776, begins tonight, at Sundown.

It is also called The Feast of Trumpets, or, in Hebrew, Yom Teruah,
which means literally, "day of shouting/raising a noise"

May God give you, in this new year, joy befitting the blast of trumpets, shouts and raising a noise...

But may it also be for you

a year of Peace that passes understanding
Stilling of the storm
Beauty for ashes

May He make this for you,

The Year of
The Gentle Whisper.

Shalom, my friends,
Shanah Tovah,
Happy New Year

a year of Peace that passes understanding - beautiful, gentle whisper along the web.
